The Salak Phet valley
The Salak Phet valley with its almost 800 m high mountain is known for its fertile soil with large fruit, rubber and coconut plantations.
Two waterfalls and view points and endless small trekking pathes are a highlight for the nature lover.
The Kiri Phet waterfall is the starting point to clime up to the Salak Phet mountain of allmost 800 m.
We can arrange with the National Park rangers a guided trekking tour to the mountain. It is not allowed to go alone.
Very ambitious sporty people can trekking along the waterfalls to the top of the mountain. (never go alone it is very risky)
The village administration and 2 ATM terminals are located in between Kiri Phet waterfall and Klong Nung waterfall.
lt should be mentioned that both ATM terminals are not very reliable.
An other ATM terminal is located in the Government Hospital.
4500 m from IVR at the Salak Phet junction turn right to the temple and the mangrove walkway. Turn left to Salak Khok and the east coast road to the ferries
